Hilleman Laboratories a global entity founded by Merck and Wellcome Trust focused on fighting disease in developing countries. We designed a brand identity that addressed a key issue: promoting trust between the founding companies and regional constituents. Our logo design solution presents a flower-like symbol that is “soothing” and speaks to the cultural sensibilities of the mostly Asian and African countries it serves.
We created a logo that evokes partner interaction, scientific innovation and above all approachability to its end users. As one of Merck’s scientists working on the project described it.
