The Bloomingdales shopping bag designs commissioned by the iconic creative director John C. Jay represented and era of daring creativity of the famous New York upscale-luxury department store. Bloomingdales shopping bag designs were so unique than even without the store logo they were widely recognized. These bags became collector's items. This shopping bag art was created by Javier Romero. Other well known artists, designers and architects included Antonio Lopez (the famous fashion illustrator, Michael Graves and Ettore Sottsass.
